Unveiling a Troubling Pattern: The Impact of Disrespect towards Mothers

In light of recent developments surrounding Cassie’s settlement of domestic violence with Diddy, a concerning pattern has come to the forefront. A video on YouTube featuring Diddy’s former employee, Gene Deal, has resurfaced, raising questions about the dynamics within Diddy’s relationships.

Gene Deal, who had previously voiced concerns about Diddy’s behavior, is speaking out once again. During his time working with Diddy, he witnessed and heard stories about the abuse suffered by Diddy’s then-girlfriend, Kim Porter (deceased in 2018). Gene suggests that Cassie was likely treated the same.

The gravity of this revelation cannot be overstated – it highlights a distressing cycle of abuse. Gene’s warning is clear: no partner is immune, regardless of beauty, status, age, talent. The picturesque facade can disguise a darker truth, and individuals may find themselves becoming the next victim of abuse.

An additional insight from Gene is equally poignant: he observed Diddy disrespecting his own mother. Gene, choosing to stand up for his own morals, defended Diddy’s mother. His advice to all women is a clear fact: “If a man disrespects his mother, you’re just like an ice cube, you ain’t got a chance in hell.” This is a stark reality that should not be ignored.

Reflecting on this, I’m reminded of a personal experience with an abusive ex who routinely belittled his mother, claiming she was simple-minded and not intelligent. His exclusive communication with his father signaled a broader lack of respect for women. I observed this early in our relationship and didn’t think twice that he would be verbally abusive months later because he seemed like a kind, and gentle guy. This is a whole other topic I will be posting about later but he did end up abusing me, and it got worse the longer I stayed…

This serves as a crucial warning sign. If you witness or experience such behavior while getting to know someone, it’s imperative to address it head-on. Individuals who disrespect their mothers may carry a pattern of abuse, and turning a blind eye may lead to further harm. Please pay attention – shutting down such behavior is an act of self-preservation, as individuals with a history of disrespect may not change, and the cycle of abuse could persist.
